PNG, JPG, or WebP — add more screenshots at any time
Screenshots and instructions stay in this browser tab until you explicitly upload the finished PDF. Large or numerous images can use substantial browser memory. The exporter validates text that its PDF font cannot represent instead of silently replacing characters.
Every screenshot needs an action and expected result. Changes made after PDF generation invalidate the old download and optional share action.

How It Works
Three steps to get started
01
Add Screenshots
Choose one or more PNG, JPG, or WebP screenshots. Each valid image becomes a stable guide step.
02
Write and Order the Steps
Add the action and expected result for every screenshot, then move or remove steps without losing their text.
03
Create and Verify the PDF
Build screenshot-guide.pdf locally, download and inspect it, or explicitly upload only that finished PDF to Zight.
A Reviewable Procedure
Show the action.
State the result.
A screenshot alone shows a state, not the instruction that produced it. Each step keeps the image, action, and expected result together so another person can test the procedure.
- Stable numbered steps with explicit action and expected result
- Reorder and remove controls that preserve entered text
- Real application/pdf output generated with jsPDF

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, completely free. No account or credit card is required.
Editing, preview, and download stay in your browser. The finished screenshot-guide.pdf is uploaded only if you explicitly choose Upload to Zight after it is ready.
PNG, JPG, and WebP screenshots are supported. Unsupported or undecodable files are rejected with a visible message.
The builder does not impose an arbitrary file-count or file-size cap. Your browser still has finite memory, so very large images or long guides may need to be divided into smaller documents.
Common Western European characters supported by the PDF font are accepted. If a character cannot be represented, the builder identifies it before generation and keeps download and sharing unavailable until the text is corrected.
No. It formats only the screenshots, actions, expected results, title, and prerequisites you enter.
