September’s updates make it easier to put visual context where work happens, get feedback at the right moment, and make recorded conversations easier to revisit.

The releases below are available according to your Zight subscription and workspace configuration. Salesforce Service Cloud is a premium integration: it is available as an add-on for Create and Collaborate and included with Scale. For the remaining updates, confirm availability in your workspace before making a rollout commitment.

Zight September 2026 product updates

Put visual context on Salesforce Service Cloud cases

Zight for Salesforce Service Cloud lets support teams add recordings and screenshots to case records, share visual explanations with customers, and request a video when text alone is not enough. A Salesforce administrator installs the package, adds the Zight panel to the Case page, and authorizes assigned users. Read the Salesforce Service Cloud setup guide to get started.

Comment or react at the exact moment in a video

Timeline reactions and comments help reviewers respond at the relevant moment instead of describing a timestamp in a separate message. Start from a shared video and use the timeline to anchor feedback. See the existing reaction guide; a release-specific timeline article is still needed.

See who said what in Zight AI transcripts

Speaker splits add participant context to Zight AI transcripts, making recorded conversations easier to scan and hand off. Open a video’s transcript to review it. The current captions and transcriptions guide covers the broader workflow; a speaker-split article is still needed.

Choose a thumbnail that gives viewers the right preview

Custom thumbnails let you set a clearer first impression for a shared video, so recipients have more context before they press play. Start from the video settings and follow the custom thumbnail guide.

Move through recordings without filler words and silences

Playback can now skip filler words and silences, helping viewers get to the useful parts of a recording faster. Start from the video playback experience. A dedicated Help Center article is still needed before this workflow is broadly promoted.

Start from a refreshed home dashboard

The new home dashboard refreshes the place users begin their Zight workflow. Start from the Zight web dashboard. A release-specific Help Center article is still needed before broader rollout guidance is published.
