Hey Everyone, Scott here, CEO at Zight (formerly CloudApp)

We recently sent you an email with a new update to our Terms of Service. Many of you replied that you were unhappy with the proposed policy change, and that you felt that it would not align appropriately with your GDPR expectations. Thank you for the feedback.

After further review with our legal team surrounding the details of this policy, we realized that there were some areas we could have handled better.

As a result of this review, and the feedback from our community (thank you!), we are going to remove the proposed changes.

One thing that is worth mentioning is that we hadn’t yet made any changes to the product to actually move this policy forward yet, and we had purposefully planned to wait for several weeks after the email, so that we could hear your feedback, and make sure we didn’t miss anything. We’re sorry we missed this during our review, and we’ll continue to do our best to reflect your expectations and feedback for the Zight (formerly CloudApp) community.
