What’s changing starting June 25th
Over the past year, Zight has expanded far beyond screen recording. Today, teams use Zight for AI-powered video workflows, Request Links, and deeper collaboration across customer support, success, and internal communication.
To better reflect how customers use Zight today, we’re updating our plans and pricing starting June 25th. These changes are designed to simplify our packaging, better align each plan to the value customers get from Zight, and support continued investment in features like AI and Request Links.
Why we’re making this change
Our existing pricing structure was built around an earlier version of Zight. Since then, the product has evolved significantly, especially with the introduction of AI features, Request Links, and more advanced team workflows.
The new plan structure is designed to better match how individuals and teams use Zight today. For most customers, day-to-day usage will remain familiar. In many cases, plans will now include additional functionality or clearer access to features that were previously separate or harder to understand.
What’s changing
We’re renaming and restructuring our plans to better match how customers use Zight today:
Share (formerly Free)
Share replaces Free and is best for individuals who need simple capture, annotation, and sharing.
Share includes:
- Up to 5-minute recordings
- A visible library of up to 25 recent items
- Basic capture, annotation, GIF, and sharing tools
- Up to 5 Request Link replies per month
Create (formerly Pro)
Create replaces Pro and is best for individuals working on their own who want AI-powered creation and editing, but do not need advanced team workflows or documentation-heavy use cases.
Create includes:
- Unlimited recording length
- Unlimited AI-generated titles, summaries, and transcription
- Transcript editing and correction
- Video editing and annotation tools
- 5 AI smart actions per month
- 10 Request Link replies per month

Collaborate (formerly Team)
Collaborate replaces Team and is best for teams that need shared workflows, unlimited AI actions, and more scale across a workspace.
Collaborate includes everything in Create, plus:
- Unlimited AI smart actions
- 50 Request Links replies per month
- Team collaboration and management features, as well as customization options like custom domain to match your company branding
- Admin capabilities and workspace controls
- More advanced reporting and workflow support
Scale (formerly Enterprise)
Scale replaces Enterprise and is best for organizations that need advanced security, support, and custom infrastructure.
Scale includes everything in Collaborate, plus:
- 250 Request Links replies per month (you can request more replies via your account manager)
- Enterprise-grade admin and security features
- SSO, SCIM, and SAML
- Custom retention and infrastructure support
- Higher-touch onboarding and success support
- Integrations can be requested

The biggest changes in the new plans
The most important updates in this new lineup are around AI and Request Links.
AI is now built into the plans
Paid plans now include AI-generated titles, summaries, and transcription. Create includes 5 AI smart actions per month, while Collaborate and Scale include unlimited AI smart actions.
More AI features are being added frequently on our paid plans to help you optimize your workflows.
Request Links are now tiered by plan
Request, which allows you to request videos, files, and images, is now more clearly built into each plan with limits based on usage needs:
- Share: 5 replies per month
- Create: 10 replies per month
- Collaborate: 50 replies per month
- Scale: 250 replies per month (contact us to get higher limits)
This gives individuals and teams a clearer path as their workflows grow.
What this means for current customers
Starting June 25th, these updates will begin rolling out.
- Annual and Monthly customers will transition to the new plan, pricing, and limits during their current term. They will receive a pro-rated credit for the remainder of that term, which will be applied automatically to their new term. The start and end dates of the plan billing will not change (ex: annual customers will have the renewal of their plan unchanged, only the difference will be billed)
- Free users will continue under the Share plan.
- Lifetime plans will transition to the updated features and limits only; their price will not change.
You do not need to take action just to keep using Zight. Existing customers will receive email communication with more detail about how their current plan maps to the new lineup in the coming weeks.
What’s next
This pricing update is part of a broader evolution of Zight. It gives us a clearer foundation for future product improvements, especially around AI workflows, collaboration, and integrations.
